What We Believe
The Trinity
We believe in one God, eternal Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, three in one, one in three, equal in power and glory.
God is the Father to whom we come, the Son through whom we come, the Spirit by whom we come.
Salvation Through Jesus Christ
All people fall short of God’s standards and need salvation. God’s way of salvation has been revealed in Jesus Christ.
Through the death and resurrection of Christ, our sins are forgiven. Salvation means life, forgiveness, healing, wholeness.
It comes from God’s grace received through faith in Christ alone.
Scriptural Authority
Christians believe the Bible is the divinely inspired Word of God, authoritative, necessary, sufficient, and reliable, revealing Jesus Christ as the Living Word.
It highlights the role of the Holy Spirit in affirming the Bible’s unique authority and power, guiding understanding in the context of God’s work in Christ
and encouraging application of its teachings for contemporary life.
Community and Fellowship
Living a life in Christ is about being part of a faith community and showing it in your daily life.
It’s about being open to God’s presence through prayer and letting the Holy Spirit guide you.
It means trying to follow God’s will, appreciating life, studying the Scriptures to think and act
like a Christian, and bringing Christ’s healing presence to the world. In this way Christians are
equipped to do good works.
Serving Others
We believe in serving others as Christ served us.
As God sent Christ to us, so Christ sends us into
the world. We are here to proclaim Christ in word
and deed.
